First time here. Cozy, comfortable and roomy. No wait to be seated. Service was fast and efficient. Specialty sushi/sushimi rolls are smaller in portion than some sushi places I've been to but the lower prices reflected the smaller size. Of the 4 rolls we had, the Sexy Roll was our fave. Followed closely by the Rock and Roll. The Philadelphia Roll was good but not a stand-out. The bowls they offer are large and delicious. The seared salmon was on point. The fried spring rolls were perfectly fried and also tasty. My personal favorite was the Firecracker(?) shrimp appetizer! Sorry about the pics, we had started enjoying it before I remembered to snap the photos! Also, the close proximity to the Xtream Center and central location between the parking garage and the venue make it super convenient. Highly recommend!

Our experience at Hokkaido was amazing. And they were open after a snow storm when most places were not. I ordered the Tonkotsu (pictured) and my husband ordered the Tom Yum. I'm glad I went non spicy this time as I tried my husband's and it was VERY spicy. The service was fast and everything was so tasty. I'd love to say we will be back but we were just visiting Iowa. I feel like the price was perfect too. We both ordered ramen and an appetizer to split and our total was $48. Highly recommend!
Delicious ramen, with a side of home made chili oil to add as much or little to adjust the heat to your liking. The goyza and steamed waygu beef buns were outstanding! Service was great!
Had the Foie Gras and it was a bit on the bitter side. I'm probably spoiled from all this Foie Gras that my aunt has introduced me to in Paris, but the broth was good and flavorful. Good value overall and the server was excellent..
The Tantan*** Bowl was wonderful ~ Served quickly - Ordered Med Spicy & was delicious.!!! Very fun eating with ChopSticks.!!! Broth was flavorful & not as Spicy as what you would expect with the little burn left in my mouth after eating the noodles & chicken ~ Lol. The βSoft eggβ nice protein & color. Gets some flavor from the broth. I will be back now that I know this place is close to the IRL.!!!! Since I have many appointments there.!! Canβt wait to try a different Bowl.!!!

My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place after a long day of traveling, and we knew as soon as we walked in that we were in for a treat. The staff was super friendly, they have a great variety on their menu, and we really enjoyed the authentic atmosphere. The food was so good, and the staff was great about helping us take home what we couldn't finish. It became one of our instant favorites, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to fans of Asian cuisine.
First time having authentic ramen and it did not disappoint. Wish they had one in Cedar Falls because Iβd be going every day Spicy sea urchin ramen was so good!
